Norwich Cyclones and Cheer prepare for this weekend’s playoffs

NORWICH — This year’s Norwich Cyclones football and cheerleading program had yet another successful regular season. In their fifth season in the STYFC (Southern Tier Youth Football Conference), the Cyclones have filled a spot in the playoffs each year. Our first and second graders, who represent our Flag program led by head coach Patrick Marks, will continue their season this Sunday with a consolation game at Vestal starting at 11:30 a.m.
Our third and fourth graders that represent the B Team, led by head coach Jeremy Tompkins, enter the first round of playoffs for the third straight season and will face the top-seed Susquehanna PA. The B team game kicks off Sunday in Susquehanna PA. at 1:30 p.m.
Our fifth and sixth graders that represent our A Team led by head coach Donny Lawrence will also enter the first round of playoffs as they will face top-seed Chenango Valley on Sunday at 3:30 p.m.in Chenango Valley.
