SHERBURNE - It’s that time of year again—Friends of Rogers Environmental Education Center is hosting its annual Animals of Halloween on Saturday, October 25th from 3-6 PM. This free, family-friendly event features animal actors on the Rogers Center trails, performing fun skits which pay tribute to NY wildlife. Each tour concludes at the outdoor amphitheater, where guests can enjoy live music by the campfire with local musician Jenni Larchar.

This year, Animals of Halloween will feature additional entertainment in the Rogers Center outdoor classroom. Along with the traditional cider and donuts, attendees can get into the enchanted spirit of Halloween with Magical Comedy performed by Jim Okey. The event will also feature kids crafts, face-painting, and a festive photo booth.

In the case of rain, all festivities will commence from 3-4:30 PM in the shelter of the outdoor classroom.

“We’re looking forward to celebrating the season with the community, and the terrific actors who volunteer their time and talents every year,” said Ariah Mitchell, Rogers Center Education and Communications Associate.

Registration is not required, and donations are suggested to support the continuing legacy of this beloved community event. Rogers Center is located at 2721 NY-80, Sherburne, NY. ###

The Friends of Rogers mission is to provide outstanding educational opportunities that excite, inspire, and motivate people to enjoy, understand, appreciate, and protect our natural environment.
