Greene field hockey comes up short to M-E in sectional play

ENDWELL — The Greene Trojans field hockey team earned the third seed in the Section IV, Class A tournament after a strong 2025 regular season. With three teams representing Class A, Greene made the semifinals and faced off against the second-seed Maine-Endwell on the road. Greene came up short 2-1.

Greene played evenly with M-E and outshot them seven to six, but could not contain on defense.

Senior Josie Dutcher scored the lone goal in the loss as Braelyn Blakeslee made four saves in goal.
