Market 32 Price Chopper salute active duty veterans

SCHENECTADY – This November, Market 32 and Price Chopper are honoring America’s heroes through both savings and support.

On Veterans Day, the neighborhood grocer is offering an 11% discount to veterans, service members, and their families, and throughout the month, they are inviting customers to contribute to DAV (Disabled American Veterans) by rounding up their change at checkout. To deepen the impact, Market 32 and Price Chopper will match customer donations to DAV up to $10,000.

On Tuesday, November 11, all veterans, as well as retired, active-duty, reserve, and National Guard military personnel and their immediate family members, are invited to enjoy 11% off any one shopping trip with proof of service and an AdvantEdge Rewards card.

Accepted forms of proof include a Uniformed Services ID Card, Common Access Card, VA Healthcare Card, VFW or American Legion Membership Card, Veterans Advantage or Veterans Administration ID Card, DD214 Form, or a driver’s license noting veteran status.

“We have deep respect for those who have served our country and are proud to recognize their courage and commitment to protecting our freedoms,” said Blaine Bringhurst, president of Market 32 and Price Chopper. “This offer is one small way for us to thank members of our military, veterans, and their families for their service and sacrifice.”

In addition to honoring service members with savings, Market 32 and Price Chopper are once again partnering with DAV to raise funds that directly support veterans and their families. Throughout November, customers can round up their totals at checkout, with 100% of donations going to DAV.
