EARLVILLE - Earlville Opera House (EOH) invites you to a special evening on Saturday, November 15 at 7 p.m. when our Songwriter Showcase will feature several talented musicians who participated in the EOH’s Songwriting Workshop Series facilitated this fall by Instructor Reyna Stagnaro. Featured musicians who will showcase their new songs are Yana King, Khalil Jade, Liam Herbert, Fred Ashforth, Russell Bellair, Brodie Coleman and Darryl Simcoe. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at www.earlvilleoperahouse.com, at the door, or by calling (315) 691-3550. EOH is located at 18 East Main Street in Earlville, NY.
Back by popular demand, local musician Reyna Stagnaro facilitated a three-part Songwriting Series at the EOH, offering classes that taught new techniques to help participants advance their skills while networking with other musicians. Classes were open to all levels of musicians who took the opportunity to begin or continue their songwriting journeys. New attendance mixed with repeat participants is bound to bring us a great Songwriter Showcase.

Reyna has taken classes with some of the best: Claire Lynch, Joe Crookston, Peter Mulvey, John Pennel, Todd Hobin, Loren Barrigar & Mark Mazengarb, Jeffrey Pepper Rogers, Austin MacRae and more.

She states this is “truly a dynamic and diverse mix of amazing writers and musicians; I am honored (and humbled..!) to lead this group. Come enjoy an evening of original music and the stories behind the songs. Experience the magic of the songwriter/listener experience in an intimate setting.”
Arts Education is an important component of EOH programming, and this offering presented a special opportunity for those interested in songwriting and creating original music. Reyna’s guidance offered helpful tips and techniques to grow this craft, with writing exercises inspiring new songs and group discussions.

At EOH we believe accessibility and inclusion are critical to everything we do. Our historic Opera House has been upgraded to ensure accessibility throughout the building, including a hearing loop system in our 1892 theater provided by Hamilton Hearing LLC.

EOH events are made possible with support from the Office of the Governor and NYS Legislature, the New York State Council on the Arts, and through the generosity of EOH members.
