NORWICH - NBT Bank is proud to feature the imaginative work of local photographer Lee Ingraham as part of the company’s Wall of Art installation.

Known for blending reality with creativity, Ingraham’s composite photography transforms everyday moments into fantastical scenes that spark curiosity and wonder.

“As a photographer, I love capturing the moment combined with creative imagination,” said Ingraham. “This has perked my interest in composite photography while infusing artistry with reality. An example of this includes when I gaze at the morning light bouncing within the forest, I may pause and think that could be butterfly!”

Each Ingraham piece begins with photographs he has taken, layered and edited in Adobe Photoshop using basic tools, never digital drawing. His composites often incorporate techniques such as reflections, in-camera motion, zoom photography, macro shots and architectural details. For more complex subjects, like dragonflies, he even creates props: wings crafted from plastic membranes on metal lathe and eyes made from inflated party balloons.

“Chenango Arts Council is proud to showcase Lee’s work both in our gallery and on the NBT Wall of Art,” said Alecia O’Neill, Executive Director of the Chenango Arts Council. “His pieces are whimsical yet thought-provoking. My favorites are his butterflies!”

Ingraham’s artwork will be on display at NBT Bank until the end of January.
