OTEGO —Coming off hosting the Clyde Cole Tournament at Oxford High School over the weekend, the Oxford-Greene Wrestling team traveled to take on Unatego/Franklin/UV for the first official dual meet of the season.

O-G fell just short 41-40 in the meet with a bunch of tough matches taking place.

Clyde Cole champion Kade Mustin stayed hot with a 3:02 pin against Brogen Lefever. Joining Mustin in the win column was Dawson Parks, Collin Morlando, Troy Braman, Alexander Kehl, Ryder Hitt, and David Dunkel.

Parks won by a 16-10 decision against Trent Deboer in the 132 weight class as Morlando pinned Maxwell Finch in 3:21.

Braman won by forefit as Kehl pinned Itzu Guttman in 2:10 and Hitt pinned Bridyn Gipe in 1:03.

Dunckel pinned Edward Aldycki in 1:40.

Caden Champion, Sava Gonopolskiy, Evan Vanblarcom, Bryden Sheldon, Gavin Nordberg, Yanni Drapaniotis, and Nolan Boyles picked up victories for Unatego/Franklin/UV while Jordan Danhi, Lucian Couse, Daniel Church, Jaron Boyles, and Kolton Decker earned wins for JV.
