DCMO BOCES holds induction ceremonies for National Technical Honor Society

NORWICH – In November 68 students enrolled in Career & Technical Education (CTE) programs at the two DCMO BOCES campuses were inducted into the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) during separate ceremonies. 46 were inducted at the Robert W. Harrold Campus in Sidney Center on November 18, and 32 were inducted at the Alan D. Pole Campus on November 20.
The NTHS is an academic honor society for outstanding students in occupational, vocational, and technical programs, recognizing academic achievement, skill development, and leadership. Eligibility requires meeting both national and local standards, including academic achievement, good character, and strong performance in technical programs.
Those inducted at the Harrold Campus were Aidan Haines and Kadence Racine from Afton Central School; Jessica Addorisio, Carly Finch, Sejasity Sherman and Paige Smith from Bainbridge-Guilford CSD; Dave Cazzolla and Hailey Emerich from Downsville Central School; Isaac Jordan from Franklin Central School; Jenna Carpenter, Ryan Davis, Jade Lindroth and Adam Yasser from Gilbertsville-Mount Upton Central School; Olivia DuBois and Landon Fuller from Hancock Central School; Kathryn Cronk and Kaedin VanEchaute from Otsego Christian Academy; Faith Short, Braylee Stafford, Payton Thompson, Tia Tracy and Joseph Travis from Sidney Central School; Lily Allen, Regan Berge, Pierce Haney, Evan Hilton, Derek Jordan, Tyler King, Kamryn May, Bryce Seymour, Mackenzie Spain and Kayleigh Trask from Unatego Central School; and Gianna Armstrong, Maddison Barnes, Olivia Barnes, Olivia Bartlettt, Aiden Branigan, Katelynn Gregory, Phade Lindsay, Angelas Mills, Gianna Pagan, Lucas Rice, Kyle Schamber, Maddisen Scofield, Alyson Siar, and Arwen Tracey from Walton Central School. Jessica Soulier is the NTHS chapter advisor at Harrold Campus.
Those inducted Thursday were Calvin Wheelock, Isabella Clinton and Kiley Simpson, Lillian Funnell and Noah Kresin from Greene Central School; Olivia Palmer, Diaz Liam, Gavin Brown, Brooke Rogers, Erin Nichols, Makenzie Spade, Sarah Kwasnik, Joshua Lindridge, Ash Shaw, Alex Monocoeur, Madison Rotundo, Mya Yantz and Josh Evans from Norwich City School; Miranda Hackett and Jacob Depew from Otselic Valley Central School; Edward Johnson, Flanna Calkins, Jaxon Frellis and Peyton Cummings from Oxford Academy Central School; Austin Clark, Seth Morey, Ty Reihl and Emma Schrader from Sherburne-Earlville Central School; Leland Constable from Sidney; Abigail Bennett from Unadilla Valley Central School; and Michelle Schader and Kaylee Fowlston from Valley Heights Christian Academy. Ann French is the NTHS chapter advisor at the Pole Campus.
