Afton/Harpursville bowling earns MAC league win against Walton/Downsville
BAINBRIDGE— On Monday, the Afton/Harpursville Crimson Knights bowling team hosted Walton/Downsville at Galaxy Bowl for the first match of the MAC season. Both the boys and the girls picked up league wins.
The boys swept the match against Walton/Downsville by taking all three games and the final score of 2718 to 1696.
Nick Farnham led the Crimson Knights with a 602 series, including a 200 in his first game and a 242 in his final game. Braedyn Barton rolled a 202 in his first game and finished with an overall 561 series.
Easton Bagg came away with the team’s highest game of the night with a 243 and ended up with a 558 series. Maxim DiRosa finished with a 527 series and bowled a 221 in his second game.
Brayden Holden bowled two games to end up with a 301 series and Jordan Truman bowled a game, finishing with a 169.
The Crimson Knights’ girls’ team defeated Walton/Downsville two games to one and took the final series 1601 to 1366.
The Afton/Harpursville girls’ were led by Piper Harder with a 533 series, including a high game of a 182. Morgan Crosby finished with a 316 series as Pierce Hanson added a 289 series and Madilyn Hauptmann with a 282 series. Abi Banks had a 181 series to close out the scoring for the girls.
