Sherburne-Earlville boys defeat Hannibal, advance to the South Lewis tournament championship

SOUTH LEWIS— The Sherburne-Earlville Timberwolves boys’ basketball team traveled to South Lewis High School on Saturday for the first round of the Holiday tournament. S-E faced Hannibal, where they dominated from start to finish to pick up the 71-38 victory. Both JV and Varsity advance to the tournament championships that will take place today.

S-E posted 20 points in both the first and final quarters and the defense held Hannibal to single-digits in the second and fourth quarters.

Nolan Sigman led the Timberwolves with 17 points with seven free-throws. Cam Mann and Jordan Palmer both finished with 11 points as Bryce Bevilacqua had 10 points.

Steven Smith added eight points as Mike Behret and Joey Tomsic both had four points.

Austin Clark, Kerrigen Buschor, and Kyler Buschor all had two points in the win.
