OXFORD - 6 On The Square, a nonprofit acoustic listening room in the Village of Oxford, announced its winter and spring season, featuring favorite artists, a few new faces and a folk music legend.

Jan. 10: The Sara Milonovich Trio kicks off the year with original roots rock and alt-Americana gems. An upstate New York native, Milonovich was fiddling from an early age and touring the U.S. and Ireland as part of Celtic bluegrass outfit The McKrells. In addition to her solo albums, she has been an accompanist and collaborator with Richard Shindell, Pete Seeger, Eliza Gilkyson and Jim Gaudet & the Railroad Boys.

Feb. 21: Two great singer/songwriters team up! Cosy Sheridan has been hailed as one of the finest and most thoughtful modern songwriters, with explorations of ragtime guitar and social satire, modern renditions of mythology and tales of adulthood in the 21st century. Sloan Wainwright (sister to Loudon Wainwright III and aunt to Rufus Wainwright and nieces Martha Wainwright and Lucy Wainwright Roche) blends pop, folk, jazz and blues — all tied together with her powerhouse voice and her sense of joy and connection.

March 21: Another two-fer show! Reggie Harris is a passionate, engaging and inspirational entertainer who uses songwriting to explore contemporary racial inequities and address the struggle for human rights through the lens of his own experiences. Pat Wictor is an innovative slide guitarist known for fresh interpretations of traditional and contemporary songs, and he also pens his own tunes that honor and extend rural blues and gospel traditions.

He has released nearly 30 albums over his career.

April 4: Greg Greenway, a Virginia native who made his name as part of the acclaimed Boston folk scene, has a knack for pairing thoughtful human-driven narratives with engaging melodies in a variety of styles ranging from socially conscious protest music to earthy, globally inspired arrangements. He’s released seven solo albums and several collaboration projects, including an eight-year stint in Brother Sun.

April 18: The Phil Henry Trio builds on Henry’s sense of upbeat acoustic rhythms and melodies, showing the skills of a craftsman and the authenticity of an artist. His songs have been recognized with concert wins at SolarFest and Susquehanna Music & Arts as well as showcase sets at Falcon Ridge and Kerrville folk festivals.
