S-E wrestling win the Cazenovia tournament

CAZENOVIA-- Over the weekend, the Sherburne-Earlville and Oxford-Greene wrestling teams competed in the Cazenovia Invitational. S-E returned home with the tournament title as Oxford-Greene finished ninth.

Oxford-Greene's Troy Braman led all local wrestlers with a first place finish in the 150 weight class. Congratulations to S-E and O-G's Braman.

S-E:

Noah Ackermann: third in the 144 weight class, 4-1- only loss in a 1-0 decision, won by a 17-3 major decision, a 14-8 decision, a 4:27 pin, and a 18-0 tech fall.

Trenton Anderson: third at 150 pounds, 3-1- only loss by 1:36 pin, won by a 6-0 decision, won by a 7-2 decision, won by 19-4 tech fall.

Alex Campbell: third at 215 pounds, 4-1- only loss in a 9-2 decision, had four pins, including a 4 minute pin against Oxford-Greene's David Dunckel.

Jonathan Conklin: fifth at 144 pounds, 3-2 with three pins.

Josh Evans: 2-2 in the 126 weight class, a win by tech fall, and a 2:01 pin against Oxford-Greene's Mason Reed.

Miles Fowlston: 0-2.

Richie Fuller: fifth at 190 pounds, 4-2 with a 2:09 pin, a 14-2 major decision, a 2:27 pin, and a 1:21 pin.

Manny Hollins: fourth at 132 pounds, 4-2 with a 9-3 decision, a 2:08 pin, a 12-1 major decision, and a 1:47 pin.
