Afton/Harpursville bowling splits with Hancock

BAINBRIDGE — Last Friday, the Afton/Harpursville bowling team hosted Hancock at Galaxy Bowl. The girls picked up the win while the boys fell in their match.

The Afton/Harpursville girls won by a final score of 1752-1508. The girls only lost the second game.

Piper Harder led the team with a 534 series, including a team-high game of a 219.

Morgan Crosby rolled a 374 series as Madilyn Hauptman finished with a 359 series.

Abi Banks had a 264 series and Pierce Hanson with a 221 series.

TheA/H boys’ team fell 2587-2395 and only won the second of three games.

Maxim Dirosa led the team with a 550 series, where he rolled a team-high 212. Braedyn Barton had a 192 and finished with a 531 series.

Jordan Truman finished with a 458 series as Brayden Holden and Nick Farnham both had 428 series.

Afton/Harpursville heads to Unadilla Valley this afternoon at 3:45 p.m.
