A/H bowling splits with UV
NEW BERLIN— The Afton/Harpursville and Unadilla Valley bowling teams faced off at UV’s Lake Street on Tuesday. The Afton/Harpursville boys defeated UV 2845-2737 as the Storm girls took the match 2377-2063.
Nick Farnham led A/H with a 625 series, including a 211 in his second game and a 234 in his final game.
Braedyn Barton followed with a 570 series with a 201 in his first game as Brayden Holden rolled a 561 series with a 192.
Jordan Truman finished with a 558 series with a 195 as Max Dirosa had a 207 in his second game to have a 531 series.
UV’s Teagin Eccleston led all male bowlers with a 644 series with a 255 in his first game and a 216 in his second game.
Brayden Prentice rolled a 598 with a 222 in his final game as Hunter Miller had a 509 series with a 178 and a 173.
Landin Eccleston finished with a 498 series and Liam Hoag with a 488 series for the Storm.
The UV girls were led by Kylie Menard with a 558 series with a 201 in her final game.
Layla Stevens added a 471 series as Natalie Smith had a 458 and Sarina Bell with a 454 series.
Amelia Beckwith finished with a 436 series for the Lady Storm.
Piper Harder led Afton/Harpursville and all female bowlers in the matchup with a 598 series with a 214 in her first game.
Madilyn Hauptman followed with a 455 series with a 187 in her final game as Morgan Crosby finished with a 439 series.
Abi Banks rolled a 315 series as Pierce Hanson had a 258.
Afton/Harpursville hosts Greene/Oxford this afternoon at Galaxy bowl as UV heads to Hancock to take on Deposit on Thursday.
