S-E wrestling improves to 4-0 in dual meets with a win over Cazenovia

SHERBURNE— The Sherburne-Earlville Timberwolves wrestling team improved to 4-0 in dual meets with a 50-29 victory against Cazenovia on Friday night. The Timberwolves are 3-0 in the CSC West division after the match against the Lakers was non-league.

S-E’s Drew Telesky, Freddy Smith, Andrew LaFrance, Jonathan Conklin, Trenton Anderson, and Justin Race all picked up wins by forfeit. Cazenovia earned one win by forfeit.

S-E’s Josh Evans pinned Joshua Walters-glance at 2:15 at 132 pounds as Noah Ackermann won by tech fall and Richie Fuller held on to a 1-0 decision at 190 pounds.

Aiden Shreve fell by tech fall at 126 pounds while Manny Hollins, Alex Campell, and Andrew Menard all fell by pin in their respective weight classes.

S-E competes in the Section III Dual Meet Championship this morning at Indian River High School.
