VERONA — The Oxford-Greene and Bainbridge-Guilford/Afton/Harpursville wrestling teams traveled to Vernon-Verona-Sherrill to compete in the Red Devil Invitational. Oxford-Greene finished 14th with 62 points as BGAH finished 17th with 36.5 points out of 24 teams.

Oxford-Greene’s Kade Mustin won the 132 weight class as he went 3-0 on the day as Donte Wrench took third in the 285 weight class with three wins and one loss.

BGAH’s Colton Ryan and Silas Greenman placed with Ryan taking fifth in the 118 weight class and Greenman in sixth at 157 pounds.

BGAH:

Boston Besse: 0-2 at 132 pounds

Mason Buchanan: 0-2 at 150

Gabe Cutting: 0-2 at 118

Silas Greenman: sixth place at 157 pounds; went 2:3 with a :54 pin and a 7:1 win by decision.

Andreus Juliussen: 1-2 at 165, lone win in a :31 pin against Hannibal’s Benjamin Hess.

Caleb Larsen:0-2 at 215

Noah Martinez: 0-2 at 144

Glenn Miller III: 2-2 with two wins by 2:22 pin and 3:34 pin at 138 pounds

Frank Parsons: 0-2

Colton Ryan:fifth place at 118; went 4:2 with two wins by decisions, a 2:37 pin, and a 17-0 tech fall victory against Rome Free Academy’s Rameak Thompson.

O-G:

Troy Braman: went 2-2 at 150 pounds with a 2:54 pin and a 1:32 pin.

Tallan Davis: went 1-2 at 190 pounds with his lone win coming from a 2:07 pin against Hannibal’s Nicholas Kaufman.

David Dunckel: went 2-2 at 215 pounds with two wins by major decision.

Collin Morlando: 0-2 at 144 pounds.

Kade Mustin: first at 132 pounds; went 3-0 with two pins and a 13-4 major decision.

Dawson Parks: 0-2 at 126 pounds.

Donte Wrench: third at 285 pounds; went 3-1 with three wins by pin.
