S-E swim competes against Oneida
ONEIDA— The Sherburne-Earlville Timberwolves co-ed swim team traveled to the Oneida Family YMCA over the weekend to take on Oneida High School. Oneida won the meet by a final score of 94-40, but the Timberwolves continued to see great improvements.
S-E's Brendon McCracken led the team with two first place finishes, including a first place swim in the 200 free with a time of 2:28.95. He also won the 100 breaststroke with a new best time of 1:25.44.
Parker McCracken won the 100 free with the fastest time of 59.61 seconds with Jaecie Morak in fifth with a time of 1:35.01.
Parker also finished third in the 100 backstroke with a time of 1:22.41.
Ava Flanagan took second in the 50 free with a time of 28.76 seconds, behind Oneida's leading 26.78 seconds.
Jaecie Morak finished fourth in the same event with a new personal best time of 39.86 seconds.
Flanagan also swam in the 100 butterfly, where she finished fourth with a time of 1:17.93.
Brendan, Parker, Ava, and Jaecie competed in the 400 free relay, where they took the top finish wtih a time of 5:19.75 and competed in the 200 free relay, where they took third with a time of 2:12.94.
S-E hosts Utica Proctor for senior night on Tuesday, January 27 at 5 p.m.
