S-E indoor track at Kirschenheiter Memorial
SYRACUSE— The Sherburne-Earlville Timberwolves indoor track team competed at the Fred Kirschenheiter Memorial on Saturday at Onondaga Community College.
Girls Track:
Viola Russett finished 37th in the 55 meter dash with a time of 9.07 seconds as Lydia Brown came in 41st with a time of 9.28 seconds and Layla Young in 49th (9.85 seconds).
Katrina White came in 37th in the 300 meter run with a time of 55.20 seconds with Rose Rivenburg in 39th with a time of 56.01 seconds and Young in 48th (1:03.26).
Marlie Thompson ran to a 24th place finish with a time of 2:08.08 in the 600 meters.
Hannah Barth ran to a 38th place finish in the same event with a time of 2:23.04 and Aurora Burk in 39th (2:23.17).
Isabel MaGrath finished 20th in the 1500 meter run with a time of 6:03.76 as White came in 22nd in the 55 meter hurdles with a time of 11.93 seconds.
Girls Fielding:
Rose Rivenburg finished 14th in the long jump with a jump of 11 feet, 11 and 3/4 inches as Lydia Brown jumped 10 feet, six and a quarter inches for 18th place.
Marlie Thompson came in 11th place in the triple jump with a jump of 27 feet, three and a quarter inches as White finished 20th with a jump of 24-7.75.
Rivenburg competed in the girls' shot put, where she finished 24th with a throw of 20 feet, 11 and a half inches with Young in 41st with a throw of 12 feet, seven inches.
Boys Track:
Victor Smith tied for 12th in the 55 meter dash with a time of 7.23 seconds as Jacob Sulton tied for 24th with a time of 7.41 seconds.
Sulton came in 11th in the 300 meter run with a time of 40.15 seconds.
Smith and Thomas Osborne both ran the 600 meters, where Smith finished in 13th place with a time of 1:37.43 and Osborne in 45th (2:31.82).
Brett Lewis came in 23rd in the 1600 meter run with a time of 5:38.15.
Boys Fielding:
Jacob Sulton finished 16th in the boys' long jump with a jump of 16 feet, nine inches.
Braden Lewis competed in the shot put, where he finished 14th with a throw of 36 feet, one and 3/4 inches as Liam Acly came in 40th with a throw of 26 feet, four inches and Thomas Osborne in 43rd (25-3.25).
Lewis came in 12th in the weight throw with a throw of 41 feet, two and a quarter inches and Acly in 22nd with a throw of 32-8.25.

Some S-E athletes also competed in the Mohawk Valley Supplemental meet on Thursday, January 15 at MVCC.
S-E's Lydia Brown and Samantha Garrison competed in the girls' long jump, where Brown came in seventh with a jump of 11 feet, six and a half inches. Garrison finished eighth with a jump of 11 feet, two inches.
Layla Young finished 12th in the girls' shot put with a throw of 14 feet exactly.
Jacob Sulton led the S-E boys with a top finish in the long jump with a jump of 16 feet, seven and 3/4 inches.
Braden Lewis took fourth in the shot put with a throw of 35 feet, seven and 3/4 inches and Blake Smith came in 12th with a throw of 29 feet exactly.
Thomas Osborne finished 17th in the same event with a throw of 23 feet, 11 inches.
