NY State Troop C assists over 70 motorists during recent winter snowstorm
During the latest winter snowstorm, members of the New York State Police in Troop C responded to a total of 76 weather-related events between Sunday, January 25, and the early morning hours of January 27.
CHENANGO COUNTY - During the latest winter snowstorm, members of the New York State Police in Troop C responded to a total of 76 weather-related events between Sunday, January 25, and the early morning hours of January 27.
Here is the breakdown:
Zone 1 (Chenango, Delaware and Otsego Counties):
• Property Damage (damage to vehicles only) – 5.
• Personal Injury – 1.
• Disabled Vehicles (no injury or damage to property) – 14.
• Fatal accidents – 0.
Zone 2 (Broome County):
• Property Damage Accident (damage to vehicles only) – 13.
• Personal Injury Accidents – 2.
• Disabled Vehicles (no injury or damage to property) – 9.
• Fatal accidents – 0.
Zone 3 (Cortland, Tioga and Tompkins Counties)
• Property Damage Accidents (damage to vehicles only) – 19.
• Personal Injury Accidents – 4.
• Disabled Vehicles (no injury or damage to property) – 9.
• Fatal accidents – 0.
