GREENE— The Greene Trojans girls’ basketball team hosted Harpursville in a MAC league matchup. Greene came away with a big 52-25 victory on Thursday night.

The Lady Trojans played a strong defense throughout the contest. They even held Harpursville to a three in the fourth quarter.

Mia Yahner excelled for Greene, where she pumped out 10 points right off the bat in the first quarter, and led the team with 24 points.

Mya Leggett-Carlin added eight points as Hailey Butler finished with seven.

Lexi Cloyd and Deidre Colgan both had four points each while Kaitlyn Youngs, Braelyn Blakeslee, and Londynn Wildrick all added two points in the win.

Greene (4-11) hosts Deposit-Hancock on Monday at 7:15 p.m.
