SHERBURNE— On Saturday, the Sherburne-Earlville Timberwolves wrestling team hosted the 2025-26 Center States League championship, welcoming eight other wrestling teams to Sherburne-Earlville High School. S-E, who finished first in the CSC West with a 8-1 dual meet record and a 3-0 league record, became the 2025-26 CSC league champions for the third year in a row. Congratulations!
Drew Telesky, Trenton Anderson, and Justin Race became individual league champions as well in their respective weight classes.
Results from CNY Wrestling:
Noah Ackermann: second at 144 pounds with a 1-1 record; defeated Adirondack’s Logan Peters in a 5:48 pin.
Trenton Anderson: won the 150 weight class with a 3-0 record; defeated teammate Jonathan Conklin in a 19-2 tech fall.
Alex Campbell: fourth at 215 pounds with a 2-2 record; won by a quick :37 pin and by a 2:04 pin.
Jonathan Conklin: second at 150 with a 2-1 record; only lost to teammate Anderson in finals in a 19-2 tech fall.
Josh Evans: fifth place at 126 pounds with a 4-2 record; three wins by pin and by a medical forfeit, lost to teammate Aiden Shreve in a 3:58 pin.
Miles Fowlston: 0-2 at 103 pounds.
Richie Fuller: third at 190 pounds with a 1-1 record; defeated Canastota’s Brody Bixby in a quick :48 pin.
Manny Hollins: third at 132 pounds with a 5-1 record; a win by 11-4 decision, medical forfeit, a 16-1 tech fall, and a 2:43 pin.
Andrew LaFrance: second at 118 pounds with a 2-1 record; won in a 1:41 pin, won in a four minute pin.
Andrew Menard: fourth place at 285 pounds with a 2-2 record; won by two :48 pins.
Justin Race: won the 157 pound weight class with a 2-0 record; won in a 8-4 decision and by a 1:02 pin.
Aiden Shreve: fourth place at 126 pounds with a 3-2 record; defeated teammate Josh Evans in a 3:58 pin.
Freddy Smith: second at 110 pounds with a 1-1 record; defeated Little Falls’ Nick Perry in a quick :37 pin.
Drew Telesky: won the 103 pound weight class with a 3-0 record; defeated teammate Miles Fowlston in a :51 pin, also won by :50 pin, and a 18-3 tech fall.
