ACHIEVE celebrates accomplishments of its support professionals and micro-credential program graduates

NORWICH - ACHIEVE, a chapter of The Arc New York, celebrated the accomplishments of its Direct Support Professional (DSP) Micro-Credential Program graduates.

This celebratory gathering honors two groups of dedicated staff: those who have completed the first semester of the program (DSP I) and those who have successfully completed and graduated from the entire program (DSP III).

Family, friends, and supporters joined together to recognize these direct support professionals for their hard work and commitment.

This workforce development program: Direct Support Professional Micro-Credential, was created through a partnership between ACHIEVE, SUNY Morrisville, and the Office of People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD), and offers specialized training and educational opportunities for direct support professionals. Through targeted coursework and hands-on learning, participants gain essential skills and earn a nationally recognized credential.
