GREENE—The Greene Trojans girls' basketball team honored its lone senior Mya Leggett-Carlin on Monday night in the 44-22 victory over Deposit-Hancock.

Greene excelled in the first quarter, igniting with 23 quarter points from strong efforts by Hailey Butler with nine points and Mia Yahner with five points.

The Trojans also held Deposit-Hancock to single-digit scoring throughout the contest and maintained a solid lead.

Butler led the Trojans with the nine points in the first half. Yahner and Kaitlyn Youngs both added seven points as Lexi Cloyd had two three's for six points.

Leggett-Carlin and Deirdre Colgan both chipped in four points as Marielle St. Germain finished with three.

Ahraya Whitt and Londynn Widrick both added two points in the win.

Greene (5-11) heads to Afton on Friday at 5:30 p.m.
