B-G girls earn big win vs Harpursville

HARPURSVILLE— The Bainbridge-Guilford Bobcats girls’ basketball team earned a big 62-31 win against Harpursville on Monday in a MAC league matchup. The Bobcats JV team secured a close 34-33 victory prior to the Varsity game.

B-G dominated from start to finish, excelling with 38 points in the first half. The team also picked up 33 free-throw attempts, making 18 of them for 54 percent.

Jayslin Henderson posted a double-double with a team-high 14 points and 10 rebounds. Henderson also added eight steals and played consistently throughout the contest.

Kamry Patten added 12 points, going five-of-eight at the free-throw line in the first half.

Peyton Umbra chipped in 10 points, also playing consistently in all four quarters.

Emma Kinter finished with eight points, going four-for-four at the line, all in the first half.

Marissa Mayo had seven points and also added six rebounds and four steals.

Jalyn Winans added six points as Tori Suda finished with five points, eight rebounds, and four steals.

B-G (15-1) hosts Sidney on Wednesday at 7:15 p.m.
