OXFORD — Make your Super Bowl parties and Valentine’s Day celebrations extra special this year by including locally produced foods and handmade items available at the indoor Oxford Farmers’ Market this Saturday, February 7.
Whether you’re looking for the perfect combination of burger meats and seasonings for your Supper Bowl party or wanting to treat a loved one in your life to a luscious steak or roast, the market’s vendors will have what you need, including seasonal veggies, mushrooms, cheeses, butter, bread, and artisan baked goods. You’ll also find beautiful gift items to sweeten and soothe, from handmade candles and herbal teas, to soaps and salves. Whatever you find to serve or to gift, it will be extra special for being locally grown, raised and produced.
Folk fiddler John Potocnik and pianist Kathy Shimberg will be performing indoors on Saturday, a warm meal will be served at the Conversation table, and the Chenango Food Alliance will be hosting a special Creative Reuse Craft event to support their work. Shop the Oxford Winter Farmers’ Market this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall of the United Church of Oxford, 16 Fort Hill Park.
