SIDNEY— The Bainbridge-Guilford Bobcats boys’ basketball team traveled to Sidney on Thursday in a MAC league matchup. B-G had a great start, but Sidney upped its game before halftime both offensively and defensively , holding B-G in the second half to win 64-40.

The Bobcats took a brief 17-13 lead after the first eight minutes. However, Sidney outscored B-G 21-7 in the second quarter to take a 34-24 lead at the break.

B-G was held to five points in the third quarter with Sidney increasing its intensity and never looking back.

Brayden Wehrli led the Bobcats with nine points as Aidan Haynes finished with seven points in the loss.

B-G (6-11) hosts Sus Valley on Monday at 7:15 p.m.
