S-E indoor track competes at Section III, Class B Championships
SYRACUSE— On Saturday, February 7, the Sherburne-Earlville indoor track team traveled to Onondaga Community College to compete in the Section III, Class B championship. The Timberwolves boys came in 11th place out of 13 teams in Class B, where they picked up seven points.
Sophomore Victor Smith took third in the 600 meter run with a time of 1:31.48. Smith also competed in the 55 meter dash, where he finished seventh with a time of 7.08 seconds.
Senior Jacob Sulton came in ninth place in the 300 meter dash with a time of 41.24 seconds.
Junior Braden Lewis took sixth in the shot put with a throw of 37 feet exactly and earned a top 10 finish in the weight throw with a throw of 36 feet, 10 and a half inches.
