B-G boys and UV girls officially crowned 2025-26 MAC champions at bowling tournament

BINGHAMTON— On Tuesday, the Bainbridge-Guilford boys and the Unadilla Valley girls’ bowling teams were officially crowned the 2025-26 MAC champions at the MAC bowling tournament. The tournament was held at Ripics in Binghamton.
GIRLS:
The Storm girls took first overall in the tournament as well with a 2181 series, just ahead of Sidney/Unatego’s 2179. Oxford/Greene took third with a 2145 series with B-G in fourth (1844) and Afton/Harpursville in fifth (1819).
Afton/Harpursville’s Piper Harder took the highest game overall for the girls with a 228 as B-G’s Bailey Donnelly finished second with a 194. Oxford-Greene’s Danica Fowlston took third with a high-game of a 190 as Amelia Beckwith finished fifth with a 175.
Harder also led all female bowlers with a 587 series overall in the tournament.
Cassidy Johns rolled a high-game of a 166 for Oxford-Greene for eighth as UV’s Kylie Menard tied with Sidney/Unatego’s Victoria Regimes for ninth place with a high-game of a 165.
Johns finished third with a 483 series as Donnelly came in fifth with a 476 series, Beckwith and Oxford-Greene’s Shynia Valmy both tied for sixth with a 465 series. UV’s Natalie Smith finished 10th with a 450 series with Danica Fowlston in 11th with a 439 series.
B-G’s Bailey Donnelly earned the top pins over game with a 70 as Harder had 49 pins over. Fowlston came in sixth with 33 pins over as Afton/Harpursville’s Maddie Hauptman tied for seventh with 28 pins over with Deposit’s Livian Robinson. Valmy finished 11th with 18 pins over.
Donnelly took second in the pins over series with a 104 as Harder came in fourth with 50 pins over series. Valmy took fifth in the pins over series with 33 with Cassidy Johns in eighth with 27 and Afton/Harpursville’s Pierce Hanson with 12 pins over series in 10th.
BOYS:
The Bainbridge-Guilford Bobcats boys’ bowling team won the tournament overall with a total score of 2683 as Sidney/Unatego took second with 2639. Unadilla Valley came in third with 2461 with Oxford-Greene in fifth with a total score of 2344. Afton/Harpursville finished sixth with a total score of 2089.
B-G’s Ryan Larsen led all male bowlers with a high series of a 637 as teammate Aayden Ireland finished with a 535 series for third.
UV’s Teagin Eccleston tied for fourth in high series with Hancock’s Cooper Wormuth with a 534 as Landin Eccleston finished seventh with a 532 high series.
Oxford-Greene’s Logan Anderson came in eighth place with a 524 high series as B-G’s Camren Cuozzo tied for ninth with Hancock’s Carter Wormuth with a 522 high series. B-G’s Ethan Beardslee finished 11th with a 519 series.
Ryan Larsen took second in the boys’ high game with a high game of a 243, behind Deposit’s Gianni Mastropietro’s 255. UV’s Teagin Eccleston finished fourth with a high game of a 235 as B-G’s Aayden Ireland had a high game of a 206 for seventh.
Nick Farnham led Afton/Harpursville with a high game of a 195 for 11th as Orion Lamen led Oxford-Greene with a 194 for 12th.
Lamen took third with 47 pins over game with Larsen in fourth with 33 pins over game. Nick Farnham tied for eighth to lead Afton/Harpursville with 25 pins over game. Camren Cuozzo finished 10th with 23 pins over game.
Oxford-Greene’s Logan Anderson earned the victory in the pins over series with a 41 as teammate Lamen finished fourth with 30 pins over series. Cuozzo took fifth for the Bobcats with 15 pins over series with Larsen in sixth with seven pins over series.
Aayden Ireland finished tied for seventh with six pins over series.
