NORWICH - The Norwich Fire Department and EMS duty crew made an appearance at the Norwich Family YMCA on Wednesday for a small presentation on fire prevention. Fire department members demonstrated protective equipment used to keep them safe in fires. Presenters told students one of the missions of the NFD is educating the public on fire safety. “It’s never too early to teach our youth to stay safe.
