S-E boys fall to top-seed Marcellus
MARCELLUS— After defeating South Lewis in the first round of Sectionals, the Sherburne-Earlville Timberwolves boys’ basketball team traveled to take on top-seeded Marcellus. S-E put up a good fight, but fell 66-48 on Saturday afternoon.
The Timberwolves were limited in the first half to single-digits, down by a large margin before picking up the pace in the second half.
Bryce Bevilacqua led the Timberwolves with 17 points, hitting four three-pointers.
Kyler Buschor followed with 10 points with two three’s.
Steven Smith added nine points with three three’s as Tomek Jusianiec finished with seven points and Nolan Sigman with five points in the loss.
S-E finished the 2025-26 season with a 8-14 record.
