COPENHAGEN— The Otselic Valley Vikings boys’ basketball team traveled to take on the Copenhagen Golden Knights in the first round of the Section III, Class D tournament on Friday night. OV, full of many great highlight moments this season, fell 57-42.

The Vikings could not contain the Golden Knights, who scored 20 points in the opening minutes of the contest and added 23 points in the third quarter.

OV did see one more go for 1000 points plus scorer Lukas Schieferstein, who led the team with 20 points with three three-pointers and made five foul shots.

Caleb Loomis added seven points as Konyr Clemens had six points, Alex Doroshenko with five, and Tommy Kenyon with four points in the loss.

OV finished the 2025-26 season with a 10-11 record.
