NEW YORK STATE - Following U.S. military operations in Iran overnight, the New York State Police are taking precautionary steps to protect communities across our state.

Troopers are increasing their presence at religious, diplomatic, and cultural sites in coordination with our federal, state, and local law enforcement partners. We have begun proactive outreach to religious organizations to ensure they have support and direct points of contact.

At this time, there are no specific, credible threats to New York. However, we continue to vigorously monitor for potential threats and remain prepared to respond as needed.

We ask all New Yorkers to remain alert and report any suspicious activity to law enforcement. If you see something, say something.
