Golden Foundation's 'Made in Paint Exhibit' to showcase professional artwork at public reception on April 18

The thirteenth Made in Paint exhibition by the Sam & Adele Golden Foundation will have a public opening reception Saturday, April 18, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Sam & Adele Golden Gallery at 188 Bell Road, New Berlin, NY. NEW BERLIN – The Sam and Adele Golden Foundation for the Arts, is opening the thirteenth Made in Paint Exhibition, featuring artwork from the Golden Foundation's 2025 Artists in Residence.

The opening reception will take place on Saturday, April 18, 2026 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Sam and Adele Golden Gallery, 188 Bell Road, New Berlin, NY. There will be free food, drinks, and live music at the reception.

Visitors can expect to see various forms of mixed-media art not only paintings. This year's exhibit will feature a digital artist for the first time along with sculpture and even some fiber art. While Golden Artist is a paint manufacturer the exploratory residency with the foundation is open to all types of artists not solely painters.

Each resident from the year prior submit three to five pieces they made or worked on while at the residency, from which the gallery director chooses which to display. It's not a requirement at all that the finished pieces include Golden materials, the only criteria is that the artist were residents the year prior and explored materials while there.
