The grandchildren, known as the 3Gs, serve as the living link between past and future, preserving the legacies of those who endured the Holocaust and ensuring their stories are passed on to the next generations. Through their testimonies, attendees will gain insight into the human face of the Holocaust, its significance in history, and the lessons it continues to teach about the dangers of intolerance.

Founded in 2005, 3GNY is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving the memories and legacies of Holocaust survivors. Their mission is to educate the community on the lessons of the Holocaust, while also combating antisemitism, hate, and intolerance. The organization offers a variety of educational programs, including museum tours, film screenings, discussion groups, and intergenerational gatherings.

The event at the Jewish Center will be a chance for local residents to learn and connect with their neighbors.

Attendees will hear firsthand accounts of survival and feel the emotional impact of these family stories. The experience hopes to leave listeners with a deeper understanding of the Holocaust's lasting impact on future generations.

This gathering serves as an essential reminder that, as the last living generation of direct descendants of survivors, it is the responsibility of the 3Gs to keep these histories alive.

The Jewish Center of Norwich encourages everyone to join them in honoring the memory of those lost and the resilience of those who survived.
