Oxford-Greene track competes in Binghamton’s ‘A Night at the Races’
BINGHAMTON— Last Thursday, the Oxford-Greene track and field team competed in Binghamton’s ‘A Night at the Races’ meet. The Oxford-Greene boys took fifth with 47 points as the girls finished 14th with a point.

Boys:
Track:
David Dunckel, Liam Griffin, Liam Philippone, and Keegan Waltz came in seventh in the 4x100 meter relay with a time of 49.20 seconds.
Eddie Golden, Sherman Ludolph, Calvin Moore, and Sam Suk finished eighth in the boys’ 4000m distance medley with a time of 13:21.98.
Gordon Smith won the boys’ 1600 meter run with the fastest time of 4:31.76.
Smith also won the boys’ 3200 meter run with the best time of 9:49.59.
Keegan Waltz came out victorious in the boys’ 400 meter run with the fastest time of 50.38 seconds.
Eddie Golden came in 11th place with a time of 57.35 as Sherman Ludolph finished 21st (1:02.06).
David Dunckel came in 24th in the boys’ 100 meter dash with a time of 13:35.
Liam Philippone finished 14th in the 200 meter dash with a time of 25.92 seconds with teammate Liam Griffin in 16th with a time of 26.09 seconds.
Calvin Moore ran to a 18th place finish in the 800 meters with a time of 2:28.93 as Sam Suk finished 33rd with a time of 3:14.87.
Fielding:
Urijah Dibble finished fourth in the shot put with a throw of 40 feet, five and a quarter inches.
Isaac Utter threw for 34 feet, five inches for 11th place with Aiden Mellem in 29th with a throw of 27 feet, one inch.
Utter came in fourth in the discus throw with a throw of 117 feet, 11 inches with Dibble in 10th with a throw of 100 feet, five inches and Liam Griffin in 18th with a throw of 86 feet, seven inches.
Keegan Waltz took second in the long jump with a jump of 20 feet, 11 inches, behind Binghamton’s top 20-11.75.
Sherman Ludolph came in 13th place with a jump of 16 feet, 11 and a half inches.
Liam Philippone earned a sixth place finish in the boys’ triple jump with a jump of 37 feet, seven and 3/4 inches with Gordon Smith in eighth with a jump of 37 feet exactly.
Girls:
Track:
The Oxford-Greene girls earned its single point with a sixth place finish in the 4000m distance medley with a time of 15:58.81 with a team of Lilliana Davalius, Joyce Coston, Ellie Beadle, and Clare Tompkins.
Taliena Lupinetti, Makenzie Williams, Clara Leach, and Maddy Wise came in ninth place in the girls’ 4x100 meter relay with a time of 59.13 seconds.
Junior Amani Amin finished 29th in the 100 meter dash with a time of 16.22 seconds as eighth grader Amelia Moroch came in 32nd with a time of 16.32 seconds. Isabella McCumber finished 36th with a time of 16.81 seconds.
Clare Tompkins finished eighth in the girls’ 1500 meter run with a time of 5:42.71.
Leach came in 15th in the girls’ 200 meter dash with a time of 31.33 seconds as teammate Williams finished 20th with a time of 31.96 seconds.
Joyce Coston, Lilliana Davalius, and Ellie Beadle all competed in the 800 meter run, where Colston finished 13th with a time of 2:59.37.
Davalius came in 17th with a time of 3:01.42 and Beadle in 23rd with a time of 3:24.73.
Fielding:
Londynn Widrick earned a top 10 finish in the girls’ shot put with a throw of 24 feet, nine and 3/4 inches with Aleecia Lance in 25th with a throw of 16 feet, nine inches.
Widrick earned another top 10 finish in the discus throw with a throw of 57 feet, 11 inches.
Lance finished 21st with a throw of 39 feet, two inches.
Isabella McCumber, Amani Amin, and Joyce Coston all competed in the long jump, where McCumber finished 16th with a jump of 11 feet, five and a half inches.
Amin came in 18th with a jump of 11 feet, one inch as Coston finished 20th with a jump of 10 feet, seven inches.
Leach finished eighth in the girls’ triple jump with a jump of 29 feet, 10 and a half inches.
Amelia Moroch earned a top 10 finish in the same event with a jump of 28 feet, six and 3/4 inches.
Taliena Lupinetti finished 16th in the triple jump with a jump of 25 feet, 10 and a half inches.
