OXFORD — This week's hot and sunny weather has vegetable and flower crops bursting forth. Shoppers will find over 30 vendors at the Oxford Farmers’ Market this Saturday at Lafayette Park from 9 a.m. to noon, with music starting at 10 a.m.
Vendors will be offering all kinds of beautiful flowering plants, vegetable starts, and seasonal vegetables, along with mushrooms, eggs, dairy products and regional cheeses, locally raised and processed beef, lamb, pork and chicken, local hard ciders, maple syrup and honey, coffee and tea, hand-made soaps, lotions and balms, and exquisitely hand-crafted pottery, jewelry sewn items, and willow basketry.
To make the market even more enjoyable, local singer, songwriter and entertainer extraordinaire, Jo Jo Russell, will be performing in the Bandstand starting at 10 a.m.
