Robert Eugene Cevasco, 93, of Lake Placid, FL went home to be with his Lord on Monday, January 6, 2025, at the Advent Health Lake Placid Hospital.
Robert was born on November 25, 1931, in Gilbertsville, New York and was the son of Reva (Vandewalker) and Angelo Cevasco. Robert lived most of his life in Norwich, New York with his wife Eloise who passed away February 10, 2003, where he was a salesman for college photography sales. Robert served his country with honors in the United States Navy. Robert has been a resident of Lake Placid since 2006 moving here from Norwich. Robert enjoyed a good round of golf and playing and teaching young people the art of the game of billiards. He loved to be with his family and friends whenever they could get together.
Robert is survived by his loving children; Wendy Arndt, Dennis (Joanne), Randy, Ritchie (Debra), Rob (Jill) Cevasco, loving companion Beverly Byrne, 16 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, sister; Carolyn Johnson and a brother; David (Lorraine) Cevasco.
Robert, although he lived a very good and happy life, will be dearly missed by all his family and friends. A service to celebrate Robert’s life will be held 11:00 AM, January 25, 2025, at the Community Church of God 735 Sun ‘N Lake Blvd., Lake Placid where Robert was a member with Pastor Jason Knoll officiating. Military honors will be presented by the United States Navy Honor Guard.
A celebration of Robert’s life will be held in the spring in New York.
