Beverly M. Monroe, 76 of Norwich, passed away on Sunday, April 13, 2025, at the Chase Memorial Nursing Home, New Berlin.
She was born on January 1, 1949, in Binghamton, a daughter of the late Carl and Cereta (Patrick) Bower and graduated from Norwich High School. She married Jeffrey W. Monroe on October 1, 1983, in Smyrna. He passed away on June 11, 2016.
Beverly was employed by the Chenango County ARC, Community Workshop (CWV) until her retirement. She had been a member of the Mount Hope Cemetery Board, Norwich.
Surviving are two sons, Michael (Cheer) Cole and Nickolas Cole; two sisters, Suzanne (Clel) Holmes of NC, Aurilla Bower of Castle Creek; two brothers, Doug Bower of Mt. Upton, Randy (Linda) Bower of Binghamton; three grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her first husband Edward A. Cole in 1997.
In keeping with her wishes there will be no services.
