Car, tractor-trailer collide at city intersection

Wednesday afternoon a 2002 Chrysler collided with a tractor trailer at the intersection of Rexford and Silver Streets in dowtown Norwich. The car was heading west on Rexford and struck the tractor trailer as it tried to make a left off Silver on to Rexford. The driver of the car, Cathleen Rosenburg of Sidney, suffered moderate injuries according to police. She was taken to Chenango Memorial Hospital and treated for her injuries. The driver of the tractor trailer, Scott Livingston received no injuries. Police are still investigating the cause of the accident and no tickets have been issued yet.
