Finch helps fund Sherburne projects

SHERBURNE – Assemblyman Gary Finch (R-Springport) came to Sherburne on Tuesday night for a “Meet the Candidates” event. While he was in town, he took the opportunity to hand out checks to some Sherburne officials.

A check for $10,000 was given to the Village of Sherburne. Finch was able to award the money to Mayor William Acee as part of a New York State grant. The money will be used to pave a roadway and parking lot adjacent to the Sherburne Municipal building.
