VESTAL – Greene showed no effects of a tough loss to Maine-Endwell the day before rolling to a shutout win over Vestal Thursday.
Holly Davis and Megan Boeltz scored in the first half for Greene (12-3). “We talked about needing to bounce back for today,” said Greene coach Sue Carlin. “We kept the pressure on and played very well.”
Amanda Barton added a goal for Greene, who are slated to play a non-league game at Tioga on Tuesday.

FRANKFORT –Travis Tomaselli broke Sherburne-Earlville’s career scoring record with a two-goal game Wednesday night at Frankfort-Schuyler.
Tomaselli raised his varsity total to 67 goals to surpass Matt Lake’s 66-goal total. Bill Caton and Gabe Fowler added goals for the Marauders, who led 2-1 at halftime.

Marcie Day and Samantha Spalholz solved the packed-in Oxford defense with a pair of first-half goals. B-G (12-4-2, 10-3-1) will host Southern Cayuga in the Class C playoffs a week from Wednesday.

ONEONTA – Cassandra Lembo and Lauren Harder each had 10 kills for Oneonta in a three-game sweep of Norwich Thursday, 25-20, 25-10, 25-19.
Kerzia Hopson finished with seven assists and two aces for Norwich, who will await their sectional pairing next week.
