Holy Family kids put on Haunted House
NORWICH – After almost two years of planning, fifth graders from Holy Family School are scheduled to host a spooky and scary haunted house this weekend. The haunted house is set to run from 7-9 p.m. Saturday in the school’s gymnasium.
Close to 10 students joined forces to create the event which originally was going to be at a student’s home. Over time, the idea became a community-wide project. The haunted house is open to all ages and there is a suggested $1 donation which will benefit the school. Refreshments will be provided.
Students Corinne Shea and Shane Reynolds came up with the idea and the rest of the class was quickly involved in the planning and decision-making process. Shane has a written a detailed floor plan and the class has acquired materials to ensure the haunted house will be just as spooky as they were hoping it would be.
