Pennysaver's redesigned site debuts tomorrow
NORWICH – The Pennysaver is extending its convenience beyond home delivery, and now offering the point-and-click luxury of the Internet with an all new state-of-the-art website, set to launch Nov. 1.
The new site, still pennysaveronline.com, has been re-designed in a more user friendly format to provide users – looking to search and sell – more access to more products, in more areas, reaching many more people.
“We are all very excited about the November 1st launch of the brand new, and much improved, Pennysaver/My Shopper website,” said Pennysaver/My Shopper General Manager Rick Brightman.“This significant upgrade will bring our site to a new level of usability, functionality and content.”
According to Brightman, on-line visitors will be able to personally customize the site, working with a broad range of categories, aimed at satisfying almost anyone’s specific interests. Included on the page will be a “My Favorites” option, an upgraded search engine, and streamlined access to all seven Pennysaver print editions. Customers will also have the ability to create online featured Aadvertisements, which allow for up to three photos of an item, detailed descriptions, and a quick response e-mail system to easily correspond with potential buyers.
“Our talented senior web developer, Craig Ballinger, has outdone himself,” said Brightman, praising the innovative work Ballinger has done with both the Pennysaver website and The Evening Sun website. “He can take much of the credit for what we feel will be the most popular website for buyers and sellers in the 12-county area we serve, and beyond.”
