ONEONTA – G-MU will get a third meeting in two weeks with Morris after knocking off the 12th-ranked Class D team in the state Thursday in the Morris Boosters Tournament at SUNY Oneonta.

Miranda Zimmerman’s putback of an offensive rebound tied the game giving G-MU the ball with 20 seconds left. Conway drew a foul under the basket and hit two free throws for the win. Conway finished with 18 points. “It was a good win for us, and maybe they haven’t seen our level of competition so far this season,” said G-MU coach Jim Johnson. “They were state-ranked and we were able to beat them, so we’re pretty happy about that.”
