NORWICH – Norwich made all the right choices in the second half pulling away from Windsor Friday to complete a solid week in which it beat two STAC opponents by 15 points or more.
Nate Foote had 15 points and six assists, and Amos Parry produced a monster all-around contest in which he scored 13 points, pulled down 12 boards, blocked six shots, and dished out five assists. Robert Martin added 13 points to the effort.
“The word of our week was choices, and how we played was based on the choices we made,” said Norwich coach Mark Abbott. “We talked about making better choices with the ball and how to play help defense.”
Windsor saw a three-game winning streak end, although the Black Knights made a strong run in the third quarter turning the Tornado’s one-time 14-point advantage into a six-point game, 32-26, after Tim Costello’s jumper with 3:21 to play.

The Purple (5-2) finished 11-for-14 from the stripe in the last eight minutes including 5-for-6 from Foote. “It was similar to the way we played against Owego (from last Tuesday),” Abbott said of the fourth quarter. “We were working the clock, playing unselfish, and taking good shots.”
