Old location, new flavor

MT. UPTON – Although the outside scenery has not changed all that much, new owners of the Kornerstone Restaurant on Rt. 8 say they’re cooking up something a little different inside.

What was once called The Mint on the corner of Rt. 8 and State Rt. 51 has been remodeled, upgraded and has a new menu to offer. New owner Barb Odell, along with four out of five of her children, opened what they call The Kornerstone restaurant in November of last year.

Odell says everything is homemade including soups, main dishes, and breads. There are daily specials and Thursdays are chicken and biscuit night.
