SOUTH OTSELIC – Otselic Valley reserve, Justin Shapley, scored a career-high 18 points and added 11 rebounds in the Vikings’ fourth straight win Tuesday against George Jr. Republic.
The Vikes (10-6) jumped out to a 30-6 first-quarter lead allowing head coach Dave Loomis to substitute freely. “They weren’t able to handle our defense, so we were able to get all the kids in,” Loomis said. “All of them scored, so everyone made a contribution, and that was nice to see.”
David Cerasani added 13 points and Taylor Duell 10 for OV, who play at DeRuyter Friday.
