S-E employee accused of 3rd degree rape

SHERBURNE – The New York State Police are involved in an investigation at the Sherburne-Earlville High School regarding allegations of an employee becoming sexually involved with one of the students. Shawn M. Clark, 28, County Rd. 24, Sherburne, was arrested by State Police Saturday and charged with 3rd degree rape, 3rd degree criminal sexual acts and endangering the welfare of a child.

Clark is a custodian at the school and had access to students on a regular basis. The school, following its own internal investigation, notified police at the end of last week regarding reports of inappropriate sexual actions by Clark.
