Community Players present "Harvey" this weekend

NORWICH – The Chenango Community Players will stage the comedy “Harvey” at 7:30 p.m. tonight and Saturday at the Martin W. Kappel Theater, 27 W. Main St. in Norwich. Directed by Fred Dankert, the play stars, front row: Gail Murphy, Dr. Michael Waters and Ann Scorza; back row: Marge Schroder, Richard Heim and Doug Georgia. The play, based on the famous Jimmy Stewart movie of the same name, tells the story of Elwood P. Dowd, a mild-mannered, pleasant man, who just happens (he says) to have an invisible friend Harvey, resembling a 6-foot rabbit. Tickets will be sold at the door.
