Big celebration planned for July 4
NORWICH – Millennia-Entertainment and the Norwich Fire Department will be coordinating a much larger July 4 celebration this year than in the past.
Millennia-Entertainment has sponsored several events throughout the area and will be bringing in a nationally acclaimed country artist, said its Managing Partner Terry Potter. “Little Texas was one of them, but they got signed elsewhere,” said Potter.
The Norwich FD has annually sponsored the fireworks display for the last seven years and will be co-coordinators for this year’s July 4 event. The event is scheduled to take place at the county fairgrounds in Norwich. Tickets will be going on sale in mid-May and will cost $15 a car load or family pass and $7 for an individual pass, said Potter.
The Ross Park Zoo will be sending its popular zoo-mobile to the event. The park will bring with it rare birds of prey, exotic reptiles and more.
